Camilla Engstrom is an artist and model based in Brooklyn, NY. I'm an artist and illustrator from Sweden living in NYC.How did you find your way to NYC?
I came here in 2011 because of school, fell in love and stayed!How does creation play a part in your life?
It plays a huge part in my life. I paint and draw almost everyday.
Can you tell us a bit about your relationship with design?
I love design. Especially other people's design. I find it so inspiring. I'm on Pinterest all the time.What are three things you could not live with out every day?
Snuggles, lemon water, fruit.What is most inspiring to you about New York?
I think the people.Can you give up your 3 favorite spots in your neighborhood?
I just moved to Bed-Stuy and I really don't know yet. So boring! I mostly hang out at home or in my studio.
How do you relax + recharge in this busy city?
I leave! Or I spend the day walking around or on the couch. It's important for me to not check my email or talk about work when I relax.Any exciting projects you’d like to share with us?
I have a solo show up now at Deli Gallery until December 4th! I'm very excited about that!What is the best advice you’ve ever been given? To think less and feel more.
